Writing music has been a lifelong passion of mine—one I’ve spent decades refining. My journey into video editing began shortly after my daughter was born, when I found myself constantly searching for the perfect music to accompany my home videos.
Think for a moment about films without music. Imagine Spielberg’s classics without the iconic scores of John Williams—Jaws, Indiana Jones, Superman, or Return of the Jedi. The music doesn’t simply accompany the images; it transforms them into something unforgettable.
While I’m certainly no John Williams, I discovered that the same principle applies to our own memories. Whether you’re capturing a trip to the Caribbean, a drive through the countryside, a weekend at the lake, an adventure in Europe, or even the view from your car window, the right music can turn ordinary footage into something special.
That’s why I began composing original music—not only for my own videos, but for the memories you might want to share with your friends and family.
My album Home Video Instrumental Music, Volumes One & Two are collections of music written with those moments in mind. If you’re looking for music to bring your own photos and videos to life, have a listen—you can purchase the album through iTunes using the link on my home page.
I have plenty more in the works for future albums, but for now, here are a few samples from Home Video Instrumental Music, Volumes One and Two. I hope they bring your moments to life the way they’ve brought mine to life.
If you’re looking for something more specific, some of my music is also available through music libraries such as Pond5, Songtradr, AudioSparx, and Dreamstime.
