My musical influences are as varied as they are deep. Like many Baby Boomers, I grew up with the timeless sounds of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and the Doobie Brothers—music that formed the soundtrack of my early years. As time went on, my tastes broadened, and I found myself drawn to the beauty and complexity of classical music—Beethoven, Mozart, Liszt, Tchaikovsky, and my personal favourite, Rachmaninoff. Soon, other artists found their way into my repertoire: Gino Vannelli, Yes, Larry Carlton, Steely Dan, 10cc, and many more. I’ve also developed a lasting appreciation for musicals, opera, country, jazz, and countless other genres. With such a wide range of influences, it only makes sense that my own writing would resist being confined to a single style. Here are a few of my songs but there are lots more you can find on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, YouTube Music and just about any music streaming service.
